NBA Superstar Kobe Bryant Vents Rage, Resignation and Good Humor After Season-Ending Injury

Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant has had better nights in the NBA.
Like all of them before Friday, when he suffered a season-ending injury during his team's game against the Golden State Warriors.
Even though he couldn't walk after the game, the 34-year-old superstar wasn't taking things lying down, venting his insomniac rage on Facebook:
VIDEO: Kobe cements his legacy, literally, outside Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood
"This is such BS! All the training and sacrifice just flew out the window with one step that I've done millions of times!" he posted to Facebook."The frustration is unbearable. The anger is rage. Why the hell did this happen?!? Makes no damn sense.
"Now I'm supposed to come back from this and be the same player Or better at 35?!? How in the world am I supposed to do that?? I have NO CLUE. Do I have the consistent will to overcome this thing? Maybe I should break out the rocking chair and reminisce on the career that was. Maybe this is how my book ends. Maybe Father Time has defeated me...Then again maybe not."

"It's 3:30am," Bryant continued, "My foot feels like dead weight, my head is spinning from the pain meds and I'm wide awake. Forgive my Venting but what's the purpose of social media if I won't bring it to you Real No Image?? Feels good to vent, let it out. To feel as if THIS is the WORST thing EVER! Because After ALL the venting, a real perspective sets in. There are far greater issues/challenges in the world then a torn achilles. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, find the silver lining and get to work with the same belief, same drive and same conviction as ever."
By Saturday, Bryant was coping better, flashing the peace sign while getting an MRI before surgery to repair his torn Achilles tendon, which according to reports will have him out of action 6 to 9 months. Bryant even managed some self-deprecating humor, posting a picon Facebook, and writing, "Surgery prep time. Lookin like Mrs Doubtfire with a jerri curl cap lol Anesthesia next #highasakite #mambaout."
Famous fans like Lil WayneSpike LeeChris Rock and Bryant's former coach Phil Jackson went online to wish him a speedy and full recovery.
And we definitely second that emotion. Get better soon, Kobe!

Kate and Her Devoted Prince Are Bonding Over Baby

Kate Middleton and Prince William Bonding over Babies

From opposite ends of the Ping-Pong table, the famously competitive parents of Britain's future monarch grinned at each other, and then let fly.

"Ahem, I think that was 6-2," William said, declaring victory over Kate during their visit to a Glasgow sports center April 4. But, after his official duties were done, he turned to Lord Lieutenant Sadie Docherty, the couple's host for the day, and chivalrously fessed up: "The only reason I won today was because Catherine was pregnant," the prince told Docherty, who recounted the conversation to PEOPLE.

"Otherwise she would have taken off her coat and beat me." That same day, while chatting with homeless youth at a Quarriers shelter, Will praised Kate's cooking, pointing to his allegedly expanding waistline.

"He isn't very good in the kitchen," Kate teased. But as the two wordlessly brushed against each other at every stop on their two-day Scottish tour, the affection and tenderness between them spoke volumes. "The eye [contact], their smiles to each other, were very genuine, very caring," Paul Moore, Quarriers CEO, told PEOPLE. "You know when you're in a restaurant and see two people obviously in love? That's what they're like."

A first pregnancy can put any marriage to the test—cue the nausea, stressful moments and unforgiving deadline (ready or not...). But well into their second trimester, the royal couple are cruising to parenthood more demonstrably – and demonstratively – in love than ever.

"They're much more touchy-feely than they were," observes royal photographer Mark Stewart of Will's now-automatic protective hand to Kate's back on official outings. Adds royals author Judy Wade, who has watched the couple for a decade: "They've always been close, but it is much more pronounced since she has become pregnant. There appears to be a new, deeper bond between them."

Seymour, 62, and Keach, 65, were married in 1993 and have twin sons, 17-year-old Johnny and Kristopher, together.

"They will continue their relationship as devoted parents to their children, as business associates and partners, and in their joint dedication to preserving and furthering the charitable endeavors that they've worked on throughout their marriage," the statement continues.

Gorilla Photobombs Kids at Australia Zoo

Gorilla Photobomb: Werribee Open Range Zoo, Photo
pair of sisters visiting a Melbourne, Australia, zoo left with the ultimate souvenir: a one-of-a-kind snapshot with a very photogenic gorilla.

Standing behind the enclosure's glass, Motaba, a 29-year-old resident of the Werribee Open Range Zoo, photobombs 6-year-old Ella O'Brien and 4-year-old Bridget in a picture that could put a camera-ready stingray to shame.

The youngsters keep their cool in the now-viral photo, seemingly unaware that there's an incredibly large – and presumably hungry – animal behind them.

To the kids who photobombed the president last October: You've officially been upstaged.

The real reason Miranda Kerr is no longer a Victoria's Secret Angel

Miranda Kerr Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

MIRANDA Kerr was reportedly not fired as a Victoria's Secret Angel for "being difficult", but has chosen to step down because she couldn't devote enough time to the brand.
The New York Post reports that the lingerie brand was asking Kerr to devote three months a year to promoting their brand - time she doesn't have.
The 29-year-old Aussie already has a deal with Qantas and has just replaced Kate Moss as the face of Spanish fashion line Mango.
“While she loves Victoria’s Secret, the time commitment they needed from her as an Angel became too much for her to fulfill," a source told The Post's Page Six.
"Exactly the same thing happened with Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum — their careers became huge, and there were other opportunities which made being an Angel full-time impossible.
“Anyone who says otherwise about Miranda, it’s just sour grapes. She is still going to walk in the show this year, and is still committed to the brand, but their relationship is evolving.”
The Post also revealed their media insiders had speculated that the story of Kerr "being difficult" had been planted by those "with an axe to Grind".
Victoria’s Secret’s chief marketing officer Ed Razek was quick to defend her in a statement.
“Miranda Kerr is one of the best models in the history of the business — and easily one of the most popular. She is also a consummate professional. Any rumors to the contrary are simply untrue. We have no plans to stop working with her.”
Razek confirmed that Kerr will still walk the runway in the Victoria's Secret 2013 show.
